The Story of Madre

Madre was established with the goal of making women's footwear that is both fashionable and functional. Starting in 2013, the company has quickly grown to become one of Malaysia's most well-known shoemakers. A photographer-turned-entrepreneur, the company's founder took a chance and entered the shoe business with little capital. With his background in advertising, he was able to create a strong brand, effective marketing strategies, and a focus on customer satisfaction. This helped make Madre a respected name in the industry.

Madre, which translates to "mother" in Spanish, was chosen as a tribute to all moms, as well as the founder's own mother, who was the inspiration and driving force behind everything.

Madre is now headquartered in Cyberjaya, Selangor, and has acquired over 146,000 Instagram followers and nearly 500,000 Facebook fans. The media in Malaysia has taken notice of the company as well, with reports appearing in Kosmo and Utusan, as well as on RTM's Selamat Pagi Malaysia, Biz Malaysia, Do-It, Fresh Brew, and Jelita.

Madre stays committed to the notion that fashion and functionality are not mutually exclusive as the brand continues to expand. They work hard to make shoes that give women the freedom to express their individual style without sacrificing comfort.
